Hi-tec Joinery shares best practice with the public and private sector in the manufacturing & Services edition.

Specialising in the healthcare, education, leisure and commercial sectors has enabled us to offer and develop a comprehensive range of industry-leading products, and as a result we have earned a reputation for both quality and service working within what is a very demanding and diverse industry.

Investment in Manufacturing

Investment in manufacturing is the cornerstone of our growth and success.  During 2008 our first major purchase was a computer-controlled four axis panel processing machine at a cost of more than £135k.

Timber processing machinery followed from industry-leading manufacturers. This enables us to buy raw materials for timber moulding and machining to suit our own specifications at short notice.

In 2015 a major investment included three brand new fully automated production lines. Consisting of nine machines working together, that allows us to process raw material into a fully bonded, veneered and finished decorative doors.
Investments totalling more than £1m enables Hi-tec to manufacture in-house without the need to outsource. This investment has given us full control of both the quality of the end products and the ability to ensure deadlines are met. Further investment has continued with new additional machinery acquired during 2017

Investment in our staff with full training on modern automated machinery has proved key to a committed and growing workforce.
